Angel Air is a specialist independent company of considerable interest to Procol Harum fans. Formed in February 1997, it has a catalogue already featuring recordings by the following ex-Procolers: Matthew Fisher, Mick Grabham, Bobby Harrison, Dee Murray, Tim Renwick, Pete Solley and BJ Wilson.
 

Angel Air's Peter Purnell speaks of the company's twin areas of focus:

• Re-issues of historical classic albums, always with the artists having input and providing photographs, memorabilia etc, along with bonus tracks and re-mastering.
• Issues of never-before-available products by familiar artists, or releases by artists who may not be too well-known but whose music is compatible with the overall quality of Angel Air releases.

This is indeed the same Peter Purnell who (with his wife Shirley) also runs CeeDee Mail, who offer a wide 'retro' catalogue of product, and mail a monthly update to a database of 9,000 or so: CeeDee Mail is also the only reliable source so far found for folk outside the UK to obtain the Dewar / Fisher Stumbledown Romancer (see here also): so add yourself to the list by mailing Peter.

They also own CeeDee Music UK which publishes some 500 songs; as CeeDee Management they work for a hundred or so musicians including ex-members of Deep Purple, Gillan, Snafu and Mott the Hoople; they also distribute the Deep Purple Appreciation Society and the Mott the Hoople Appreciation Society magazines.
