Christmas Conundrums 2009 : triumphant victors

And the crowd called out for ...

The answer to this year's series of conundrorum was one word, 'More', the final word of the title of the Procol Box set, All This and More: explanation here.

The first three prizes are awarded on a beat-the-clock basis; the remainder depend on the luck of the draw from the BtP Homburg on 6 January. Thanks to Jess for stepping in as today's BtP Assistant (see illustration). So here are the Triumphant Victors: successive winners get the highest remaining item based on their prize preferences: almost everyone got their first or second choice.

If your name appears on the winners' list below, please make sure we have your 'real world' address as soon as possible, and we'll activate the BtP snails to bring the goodies to the various continents required.

Do send your address even if you've won before: saves our fossicking in the files.

Do note, however, that BtP can't be held responsible if these prizes do get swallowed by the mail system. We can only do our best, and we act in good faith ...

Thanks, Jess

Marvin's winning entry came in within sixty seconds of the publication of the final clue; Mark and Patrick came in at five and seven minutes respectively! :Lots of Danish winners ... but that's because there are so many ardent Danish Procol fans.

Many thanks to everyone who took part in this year's puzzles – special thanks to Jane for verifying the questions and answers – commiserations to those whose names perforce remained in the BtP Homburg following the drawing of lots.
