The small profit built into these prices helps to keep Shine On a free publication All prices are quoted in pounds sterling, and include postage and packing When ordering, please include your Visa card number and expiry date, name on card and shipping address American Express not accepted.
'Shine On' feel they should make it clear to people buying merchandise from them that transactions involving the transmission of credit card details via email are not 'secure transactions'. 'Shine On' have processed thousands of orders in this way without any problems coming to light, but anyone who wishes to order without e-mailing credit card details is welcome to FAX or post them (details above). If re-ordering, you needn't send your card details again, but please give an idea of the date of your last order, to help them retrieve your details; also please remember to check that the expiry date is still correct.
We keep getting non-UK customers who want to send personal cheques for payment, but please note that this is not acceptable : it costs Shine On USD10 to have each single cheque negotiated by the bank, and , as a voluntary organisation set up to benefit the fan base, we simply are not able to absorb that kind of cost. Mark B sounds far better here than on Prodigal Stranger. I have a feeling that any criticism aimed at his drumming, based on Prodigal Stranger perhaps should be aimed at the production instead. "And for Geoff - well, I think he fits in very well with the band. He has two very different qualities, seldom heard in the same guitarist: both the heavy axe-in-the-head chords stuff, and the ability to deliver surprisingly melodic and lyrical - almost romantic - solos or short passages. "I'm starting to think that this maybe is the great, lost Procol live rock album that we've been craving for. Go get it!"

Shine On is very happy to announce that for the first time (as far as we are aware) there is legitimate footage of Procol Harum available on video.

We have managed to acquire a film shot in 1969 by Robin Copping (brother of Chris). It was made as a documentary featuring the line-up which recorded Home - Gary Brooker, Chris Copping, B J Wilson, Robin Trower, Keith Reid - and shows the band 'performing' (as in a modern video) previously-unavailable versions of Whisky Train, The Dead Man's Dream, Nothing That I Didn't Know and (with Keith Reid on organ) Piggy Pig Pig.

Each member of the band talks to the camera reflecting on life, PH and their relationship with each other. AWSoP, Homburg and part of In Held 'Twas in I are also featured as background music. Robin Copping is a professional film-maker and we feel it is a well-made historical document. [See the original Australian broadcast schedule!]

We have had much support in making this available to fans at a reasonable price; Robin and Chris Copping have 'cleaned-up' the film professionally; Gary and Keith have given permission to use the song titles over which they have publishing rights; Simon Platz at Onward / Cube Music has generously waived rights to a fee for their titles.
