You are warmly invited to The Palers' Convention which will take place in Manchester on Saturday 16 June from 7.45 pm prompt until 1.00 am.
BtP has hired a very comfortable suite of rooms [see map below: it's a short distance from Palers' Base Camp] for the talk, live music and socialising; through the door is a licensed bar (open until 1 am) and lounge area, above that an intimate mezzanine – all private for Palers. Salford University's attractive 'Peel Park' campus is 1.5 miles west of Manchester city centre, close to an extensive network of roads and railways. Manchester International Airport is less than 15 miles away and a British Rail station (Salford Crescent Station) is situated on the edge of the campus. The Convention has Disabled Access. There is car-parking directly outside … we are hiring a security man to look after this …
If you are staying at Palers' Base Camp, get to the Convention by taxi : ring Radio Cars on 0161 236 3807 – or ask Jury's to ring for you – their manager guarantees BtP a maximum fare of 3 pounds, which is 75 pence each if you travel four-in-a-cab.

The Convention is priced to cover BtP's costs – hiring the room, PA, staff, and instruments (for which we had two very generous sponsors).
