Violet May Brooker

We are very sorry to report the death on 4 January 2008 of Mrs Violet May Brooker, mother of Gary Brooker; she passed away peacefully in Southend-on-Sea after a few days in hospital, and would have been 93 years old next month.

Gary and his sister Angela would be grateful if fans and friends didn't write at this trying time; at the family's request 'Beyond the Pale' will collect any individual messages and send them on, in a batch, after the funeral, which takes place on 18 January.
