Bid for a pair of badges, one dark, one pale, at eBay
These gorgeous souvenir badges / pins /
brooches were designed by Christine Ayre and made by 'Shine On'
for fans who came to Redhill, UK, in July 1997 for the
first great Procol Harum convention.
Available in white or black, as shewn, they measure 33 x 22 mm approximately,
and bear the wording '30 / a whiter shade of pale 1967-1997'.
The metal is finished in a gold colour, and the stylish wording is presented
behind lightly-domed glass.
Their elegant design makes these badges a delectable and coveted item from
Procol history.
A small supply of the badges (or 'pins' or
'brooches') has recently come to light, and they'll be offered for sale to the
highest bidders
at eBay. The proceeds will help fund the 2013 Convention in Wuppertal, Germany
