All you need to do is solve the song-clue below,
thinking about the album depicted on this page, and referring to the
How to Play instructions. The clue points to a single
song-title, and you'll need to make a note of it until the twelfth and final night of the
competition, when we shall tell you how to use it.
|
So that's all the clues ... so, how do you win?
It's not difficult: you have before you the names of twelve Procol Harum
songs (all carefully written down as they appear on the album-sleeves, of
course). Now isolate the twelfth letter of the first answer, the eleventh letter of the
second
answer, the tenth letter of the third answer, the ninth letter of the
fourth
answer and so on in sequence right down to the second letter of the
eleventh answer and the
first letter of the last answer. Disregard spaces, hyphens, parentheses and
so forth when counting the letters.
So now you have twelve alphabetical letters: simply rearrange them to form the
name of one of the members of Procol Harum (click here for the list and
[clue] we've heard him
play in 2006) then send us – by
clicking here – the name of the place in the UK where he was born.
Cue applause!
