Knights's time with Jimi Hendrix
Dennis Weinreich, who through his connections with Chris Cooke became the producer of Procol Harum's live albums and the excellent Novum in the second decade of the 21st century, writes: 'David Knights went into artist management in the late 70s. He looked after performers and producers. I was one of his clients until about 1980 / 81. We remained friends for a time, then drifted apart. He was a good manager and very knowledgeable, likable, and held in high regard.'
Curious and pleasant that Dave Knights is the only member or ex-member of Procol Harum who gets this annual recognition from the USA's Boston Globe newspaper. Thanks, Tom |
