It is with an aching heart that I would like to thank you all for your wonderful messages on e-mails, cards and phonecalls during Gary’s illness and his passing to a better world  on the 19th of February.

He so wished to get better so he could play those concerts that were cancelled in 2020 due to Covid and then 2021 due to his cancer, but sadly it was not to be.

He kept his wicked sense of humour right until the end, and you should know he passed away peacefully in my arms.

The photos are of Gary learning the song Smile with Eric; and if you never heard of it you should listen to the version by the O'Neal Twins.

I will smile, remembering the good times I shared with him and with all you Procol fans. Gary will always be shining for us.
