Twin vocals from Messrs Fairweather Low and Bronze. Four eyes wide shut.

The painted backdrop faithfully represented the village scene outside the hall (albeit a summer version).

Andy Fairweather Low, an absolutely
unique guitarist, and very probably
'man of the match' for the evening.

Surely a role-model for all self-respecting bassists? The cry, 'Go Bronzie!' was frequently heard from the audience.
Can you see the 'Eric Clapton' signature on the Fender headstock on the left-hand picture? The guitar is Andy's ... and he was wearing an Eric Clapton tour shirt. EC was not, as far as we could tell, using a reciprocal AFL guitar.

This blue bass appeared only for the encores ... yet it was Dave's instrument of choice the following evening.

Above and below, Clapton, Bronze and Pentelow ... not much of a caption, this, but you could
amuse yourself playing 'spot the difference'. There are several ...

Gary's village hall has a very nice ambience, but rock'n'roll it ain't ... witness the lighting rig above the Commander's hat.

A characteristic signal from the leader brings the Shoes to a halt. Note the lyric sheet on the organ, and the set list propped up behind Andy. Neither was much used.
