Saw Robin Trower last night at Crewe Limelight club. Great gig. Really
enjoyed it. Robin didn't say much, but gave his all for 90 minutes. I'd never
seen him before, and don't know his music well. But it was slightly funkier than
I expected, and he played Bridge of Sighs and Day of the Eagle.
I took some awful pictures on my mobile, but very much like
the cat (!) he could not be photographed – he
always came across as a blinding orb of light, even though (I swear) there were
no extra lights on him (note that his fellow-musicians Davey Pattison, Dave
Bronze and Pete Thompson come out OK in the pictures)
This is why I don't write reviews!
Cheers,
davelee
