These pictures were taken by Carol Bellantoni at the Hofstra University in Long Island, New York on 11 May 1977. Apparently she was a Procol Harum fan even before she met Matthew Fisher and became his girlfriend … then (3 May 2002) his wife.
"I'd like to dedicate them to the memory of BJ Wilson and Linda McCartney," Carol says in the BtP Guestbook
Thanks, Carol and Matthew.

Gary Brooker at this grand piano: at this era he travelled with an electric piano as well, which you can see to the left: it was used in Strangers in Space. |
Mick Grabham takes one of his great solos |
Nice shot of BJ, far stage left |
The Admiral: notice the anchor on his shoulders – there is also naval braiding on his cuff. |
Dee Murray filled in on bass for Chris Copping on this tour. |
Pete Solley with his fiddle. Are they playing This Old Dog ? That or Musical Fish … |

Mick Grabham and Peter Solley in action |

Another shot in which Gary is evidently in full cry … perhaps the final lines of A Salty Dog |
Barrie Wilson, genial in the dressing-room |
Franky and Gary Brooker |
Another shot of Peter Solley … he sang harmonies on This Old Dog |

Keith Reid, in conversation in the dressing-room. The pen is ever-ready in his breast pocket. His interlocutor's profile is scarcely-identifiable, we think. |

One last picture of Gary, in uniform, at the helm |
Carol is also a skilled painter. Have a look at the pictures she painted for BtP.
