BJ Wilson's approx position over Kristiansand, 26 May at 23.00
A good way to find bj; find Vega - that's easy, it's often the strongest
star in the summer sky and very high up.
Below Vega to the left, you'll see another strong star - Altair, in
the Eagle. Trace an almost vertical line down from Vega (ever so slightly
tilted to the right), until it intersects a horiszntal line from Altair
to the right (ever so slightly tilted downwards). At the intersection is
the star of BJ Wilson.
To the left of Vega you'll also find the constellation of Cygnus, The Swan. Deneb in the bird's tail is a bright and easily identified star. When you've make out the whole constellation, doubling the line from Deneb to Albireo, the "beak" star of Cygnus will get you almost to BJ.
