On 14 February 2015 Colosseum played in the sold-out Lehenbachhalle in Winterbach near Stuttgart: a great concert, and one of their last.
Warmly welcomed by the crowd, most of them in same age-group
as the band members, Colosseum started with the wonderful Walking in the Park
and ended after two hours with the never-ending Lost Angeles, opened by
the unbelievably energetic and sophisticated drum solo of Jon Hiseman.
Chris Farlowe said that they are very sorry to end such a good thing as
Colosseum.
The audience thanked them for the very emotional and intensive evening.
And after the show Paul Koehrer (the sine qua non of
Gary Brooker's 69th birthday
celebrations) was happy to greet
honorary Whaling Stories member Chris Farlowe on behalf of Michael
Ackermann.
We are now looking forward to Procol Harum's concert at Winterbach Zeltspektakel
(as advertised at the venue, above): all details
