Ray Jackson, centre, performed two very strong Lindisfarne tunes, Lady Eleanor and Meet me on the Corner: both benefited from the band's four-part vocals
The Gathering ... they gather in black
Ray Jackson played mandolin and some improbably nimble harmonica

After the show, in the bar, there was some serious semantic
discussion following Doug's use of 'hyggelig', a Danish word meaning something
like 'cosy'
but for which there is no real English equivalent. Kristina mentioned that
Spanish cannot distinguish 'snuggle' from 'cuddle'. Linda opined
that the latter generally happens face-to-face; Ray claimed it was 'the posh
word for 'grope'. BtP asked Matt and Kristina
to demonstrate 'snuggle' and 'cuddle' for the camera (above) but we can't now be
certain which is which ...
Kristina at least has her feet on the right way round
The band in the bar, late, pose for 'Beyond the Pale'. Not
pictured, but a welcome presence, Mr Clive Goodman from Tredegar,
a great fan of The Commander, fan of As Strong as Samson, and
frequent visitor to this website – greetings, Clive, and see you at Cropredy.

And let's not forget another Copenhagen-dweller, Jonathan Ash, who warmed us up nicely at the outset
