Through all the rehearsals and performances that inscrutable child ogled us from the portrait on the wall
Peter Clare (the surname is specified because he is not Peter Christian, who
joined
us with his guitar on one song) in the garden behind Domus Felix
Roland and Larry in conversation. Tito, Peter Christian, and Jens fixing the chairs ... the party is imminent.
Peter Christian, Jens, Marvin, Jeff and Bjørn ... setting out tables for 120 diners
Kari Romkes and her French horn, with husband Andrè. Kari was a late addition
to the Palers' Band
and Roland wrote her a horn part for the middle of The
Worm and the Tree. Later still we found out
that she was in Denmark only for
the Saturday, and TWatT was scheduled only for the Sunday.
Nonetheless Kari and Peter Clare test the brass arrangement ... we recorded it on the
Saturday morning, 19 August,
just to know
how nice real brass sounded. On the Sunday
evening, Peter played on his own. Still sounded good.

The guests are arriving, mostly having walked
the short distance from Ledreborg: and Donna

out the lapel
