BtP's correspondent wrote: it's getting late but as promised the setlist (they actually did not have one on stage, so it's just what I can remember). The event started at approx. 6pm. The Band du Lac was on after the Jones Gang at about 10.15pm.
In between Rory Bremner entertained us. The Band du Lac consisted of Gary Brooker, Andy Fairweather-Low, Dave Bronze, Henry Spinetti, Mike Rutherford, Paul Carrack, Frank Mead and Graham Broad.
The setlist as I remember it:
Tequila
Over My Shoulder (Paul Carrack/Mike Rutherford)
Reconsider Baby
featuring Eric Clapton
Lay Down Sally featuring Eric Clapton
How Long
(Paul Carrack, EC remained on stage)
Willie And The Hand Jive featuring
Eric Clapton
Katie Melua then appeared with Dave Bronze, Henry Spinetti
and Mike Batt (three songs: Crawling Up A Hill, the second one I did not
recognise, maybe Learning The Blues, and The Closest Thing To Crazy).
Lay My Burden Down featuring Andy Fairweather-Low
Say It's Not True
featuring Roger Taylor
These Were The Days Of Our Lives (Roger Taylor)
I
Want To Break Free (Roger Taylor)
This World is Rich (For Stephen Maboe) sung by Gary Brooker, which
somehow connected to Bob Geldof who could not attend.
Act Naturally featuring Ringo Starr
Photograph (Ringo Starr)
With A Little Help From My Friends (Ringo Starr)
A Whiter Shade of Pale (Gary Brooker)
Stormy Monday featuring Eric Clapton and Chris Barber
Under The Boardwalk featuring The Drifters (EC remained on stage)
Stand
By Me (The Drifters)
Cocaine featuring Eric Clapton
I Can't Dance (All)
There is good news that the whole concert was filmed and will be released to raise more money. No idea though, when that will be
