When Gary Brooker plays a major concert, experience shows that all the fans have a good time if we stay in the same hotel. 'Beyond the Pale' started organising this for fans before Redhill 1997, and has followed it with Guildford 1998, Guildford 2000, Kristiansand 2001, Manchester 2001, Croydon 2002, Lewisham 2003, Hollywood 2003, Islington 2003, and Bloomsbury 2005

BtP has negotiated good discount rates with The Guildford Hotel (formerly The Jarvis) in the Guildford High Street. This is where all the Palers stayed in 2000: somewhat old-fashioned, comfortable ... very central, but probably requiring a cab to the gig.

A reminder: your tickets are not being sent to you, but there will be BtP agents at the door of the Cathedral with a list including your name: when you check in with us, you'll be admitted to a seat in the 'preferential area' that will have your name on it. When you remove the 'reserved' card to sit down, be sure you also remove the blob of blu-tack as well, or you will find yourself stuck to the seat.
