The particular interest of these two setlist photographs is – aside from the fact that for once the Brooker ensemble on stage actually followed them pretty closely! – that they show the keys in which the songs are to be played. Note that the two pieces from Gary's solo albums are marked " !! " ... signifying that they explore rather more keys than the more conventional songs that make up most of the rest of the sets (a note on who played what, and how it went down, may be read here).
These setlists appear to be written in Gary Brooker's hand, and the additions in finer pen, showing who is to sing what, may well be his as well. BtP remembers the Procol Danish tour in 2002, when someone in the entourage was ribbing the Commander about the fact that he, alone of the band, has a king-size bed specified in the accommodation contract. 'Well, I need to make lists!' was his reply. The evidence is before you.
