Gary flies off round the Continent to 'play some blues'
Sorry we couldn't let you know in advance; Gary was confirmed in the band at the last moment, but he's been on a short tour of the Continent with 'Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings', including one London date at The Forum in Kentish Town.
Line up was Bill, Gary, Georgie Fame, Graham Broad, Peter Frampton, Albert Lee, Terry Taylor, Beverley Skeete, Frank Mead, Nick Pyne, and two girl backing vocalists.
This follows the release of a new album, Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings Struttin' Our Stuff, (BMG LC 0316) on which Graham Broad is playing throughout although Gary plays organ on just one track, Bad To Be Alone, with Beverley Skeete taking vocals. Other guests on the CD include Eric Clapton, Paul Carrack, Geraint Watkins as well as those who played on the tour.
Shine On also re-printed the Rhythm Kings review from The Independent.
