New CD Re-releases, unapproved and approved

As mentioned in August the first four Procol albums are now available on CD as a box set. Three CDs are included in the pack: CD1 has 1st and 2nd album, CD2 3rd and 4th and CD3 which is described as singles (A & B sides), out-takes and alternative takes. (Review)

Music Club have given Henry Scott-Irvine the opportunity to pick his favourite Procol tracks which are released on a CD entitled Halcyon Daze – The Best of Procol Harum. He's also written the sleeve notes. (Review)

We understand that there has been much discussion on the Internet regarding the re-releases available, and would like to point out that the two above are unapproved by the band and are nothing to do with Shine On.

Gary feels it should be pointed out that the quality cannot be guaranteed. He is particularly concerned as to why alternative takes have been released without agreement, when "the best one was released at the time!"

Approved!

Repertoire's re-releases of Within Our House and No More Fear of Flying. Flying contains bonus tracks Fat Cats and SS Blues.
