This issue is almost entirely devoted to the early part of the wonderful scrapbook sent to Roland Clare by BJ Wilson's sister, Pam Quinn, with further contributions from brother Richard. It provides the reader with a fascinating insight into his early life and success at the age of 16 with The Paramounts.

Next issue, we hope to continue with the Procol Harum years. Grateful thanks to Pam and Richard for sharing it with us, and Roland and Frans Steensma for the text.
