Dennis Petticoffer writes,
Found my notes from the Winterland Concert 5/24/73: The band played 11 pm to 12:30. They were clean-shaven and had shorter hair than I remembered (aside from Grabham). Gary looked especially fit. Copping wore a fancy sports coat and he reminded me of Richard Carpenter, of all people.
Pandora's Box: first time I'd heard it, but it didn't impress me at the time. Grand Hotel: magnificent light show on this and Whaling.

They encored with A Salty Dog and a super fast Kaleidoscope. Terry Reid was much too loud. The Strawbs played a decent set. But Procol blew them both away. This was really their peak in my book.
