Which prize would you like ...

... if you win the song-anagrams competition?

With our last Christmas puzzle we'll tell you exactly how to enter. When you mail us with your answer you'll also need to tell us which prize you would most like, so thinking about that now will save time at midnight on January 5th!

As well as the one-sentence answer to the anagrams puzzle (explained on 5th January) you'll need to rank the seven prizes in a personal order from most-favoured to least-favoured so that we know which one to send you if you win:

If you get this sentence ready ...

'I like the prizes in this order: (for example) A, F, D ... '

... you'll be able to send it off the minute you solve the last anagram!

'Beyond the Pale' will announce the seven winners on these pages and notify them by e-mail. Prizes will go to the senders of the first seven correct answers to arrive; the decision of Roland Clare and Jens Anders Ravnaas will be final; their families are not allowed to take part. (Hard luck Jane!)
