Christmas Quizzes 2018–2019

Solution of the Day : 3 January

10 I

Unusually this Procol song title is simply a female name often associated with the actress Blanche Roosevelt in The Pirates of Penzance by Gilbert and Sullivan.

Easy Google-job, no?

Jubilant Procol fans, at a concert in July 1997, heard a mere fragment of this then-obscure Brooker/Reid song – it wasn't on the setlist, but it appears in concert reports at 'Beyond the Pale' – and played only as a piano/organ duet, whereas the full studio version, when it was finally recorded and released on CD, was played by the entire band.

The letter-pairs started in positions 2, 3 and 4 in each song-title, and were therefore ag, gd, da, ab, be, el, ro, ob, be

The one letter-pair that appears twice is 'be'
