Fifth piece of the Puzzle (try to think straight ... good luck!)
The Broken Barricades LP sounded quite un-Procolesque when it was released, yet over a third of the album's songs have been been performed in concert by the band with symphony orchestras. Which number from the album found its way, in orchestrated form, on to the 'B'-side of a 1972 45rpm 7-inch Top 20 single?
Which of these three 'focus-group' responses is nearest to the
truth? Make a note of the red number
so you can find the answer again easily at the end.
051 | Simple Sister was definitely played at the Edmonton gig, but not recorded: that's the version on the 'B' side to the 1972 chart success Conquistador |
052 | Has to be that song where Gary sings 'peach preserve' |
053 | My best guess is that long, very heavily produced track about the grand hotel ... I forget the name of it |
