Procol fans in the United States have been wondering which of the online outlets to go to for their copy of the must-have Procol Harum Live DVD. (Here in Europe we are surprised at the low prices being quoted: these suppliers are quoting a cheaper price for the DVD than BtP was able to get even for the three-hour fans-only special offer at the Palers' Fair, when neither we nor our supplier were making any profit on it at all!)
Neal Fischer sent the following analysis to BtP, balancing the base price quoted for the DVD against shipping costs and other levies ... but within hours of his so doing, the quoted base price at one of these outlets had been put up by two dollars. So do check! It may be that some of these merchants are finding – once they actually try to take delivery of some stock – that they can't fulfil the low prices they've quoted.
However we do know that Amazon are already shipping the DVD at
the prices quoted, so – in view of this certainty – Amazon are the dealer

Marvin Chassman adds that "... if you order at least $49 worth of stuff from Amazon (doesn't have to be just DVDs) and select 'super saver shipping' (or whatever it's called), then the shipping is free. Just make sure that all of the items you're ordering are in stock or else they may hold up the order."
