This DVD captures the legendary UK act Procol Harum, recorded in December last year! It is genuinely very good indeed. What you have here is a 90-minute gig, recorded in Portalen, Denmark, that shows a terrifically talented band (even if they're not all original members) who are growing old extremely gracefully indeed.
The 20-song set, including two rock standards: Conquistador (as covered by Saxon), and of course A Whiter Shade Of Pale, sails by in a haze of glossy musicianship and rampant crowd adoration ... who'd of [sic] thought PH could still illicit [sic!] such strong reactions?
Aside from Gary Brooker (keys/lead vocals), the PH today features Matthew Fisher (keys), Geoff Whitehorn (Guitars), Matthew Pegg (Bass) and ex-Big Country man Mark Brzezicki on drums.
