'Your excellent web-site often pays tribute to "fallen heroes", and as Johnny Kidd & The Pirates' Mick Green sadly passed away this morning it would be nice to see a few words about him! The enclosed picture was taken by me here in Stockholm back in 1978 so no problem with copyright.

Mr Green also had a band in the early 70s called Shanghai with whom he recorded two LPs, one of them titled Fallen Heroes.

He also of course played for many years with Englebert Humperdinck, van Morrsion, Paul McCartney etc, etc.'
