Honorary Members of 'Whaling Stories'

Whaling supremo Michael Ackermann writes:

I first met Sam at the 1988 Wintershall gig. Her hit Stop had just hit the charts. This time she was in the background vocals with her mother, Vicki. Vicki died much too early a few years later.

Gary Brooker told me a few years ago how much he loves the voice of Sam. She's one of the best friends of our Honorary Member, Margo Buchanon.

I was glad to see Sam at the last Wintershall concert in July 2002 again.
