Bootlegs and MP3

Some say there's nothing and some say there's lots

'Beyond the Pale' does not promote the sale of Procol Harum bootlegs, and we do not provide information on bootlegs on this website.

We do host excellent on-line legitimate Procol Harum live MP3s that let the band get their due payment.

Gary Brooker kick-started this movement with his 2005 Christmas present to fans, a brand-new track on which he sang and played all instruments, which was exclusively available at this website, for a nominal fee: but that offer is now closed.

Since 1999 six official live recordings have been released, being absolutely excellent and highly-recommended.

There are of course many Procol Harum bootlegs in circulation, of highly variable quality, and they are usually traded by private contact. Please don't ask for them at 'Beyond the Pale': get the legit ones, listed above, and enjoy top-quality sound while keeping the musicians in pocket.
