Broken Barricades

Contemporary album review

From a British Music Paper ... not sure which!

We really don't understand why British audiences have never given Procol their due, because they're simply one of the best bands the country's ever produced. This isn't quite the best album they've made, but it's still vastly superior to the majority of today's product, and they obviously put a great deal of care and thought into everything they do. Take note particularly of Robin Trower's fresh uncliched guitar – like the rest of the band, he stands comparison with the best in his field.
