the Procul [sic] lyrics'
Keith Reid's distinctive handwriting is instantly recognisable. Eastwood is part of
Leigh-on-Sea, Southend.
Below, a larger shot of the postmark: 'South Lambeth' is readable in the original, under which is a number 4, for the old postal district (these days Lambeth has the SW4 postcode.) The date follows, albeit very obscured, possibly starting with 21. Next the time, ending with 'PM', and along the bottom is probably 'GPO', General Post Office.
