Paler davelee writes to BtP with a simple plan that could help to promote and sustain the new millennium's great welling-up of interest in Procol Harum:
For readers of Q magazine, this month they have had a
feature on the 100 Greatest British Albums.
They now have a competition …
"Tell us what
album should be at Number 101 on Q's Greatest
British Albums List ... the most deserving album that
didn't make our list ... review it in no more than 60
words ... send your name and address and daytime 'phone
number to: The 100 Greatest British Albums Competition Q Magazine Mappin House 4 Winsley Street, London, W1N 7AR UK you could win CDs of all the top 100 albums. Closing date 10th June" |
Why don't we choose a Procol album - I suggest A Salty Dog, as it was BJ's favourite, I reckon - and as many Palers as possible send a review in ... you never know!
