Procol Harum in Lanarkshire ?

1967: did it ever happen?

Paler Jim Corbett writes to BtP (May 2007)

Alford Transport Museum in Aberdeenshire, Scotland has a little 1960s scene (Vespa, Lambretta etc.) and includes the poster (left).

Did the gig ever happen ?

Please see the text of the poster below – revel in the glorious period  rhetoric! Read to the very bottom.

The poster dates from 1967: does anyone know if Procol made that trip North of the Border to tread in the show-stopping tracks of the equally-mysteriously-named The Pat'r Four?
