Jesper Frigast Larsen writes from the Sports Confederation of Denmark to BtP (March, 2006)
Procol
Harum is a horse ... well, also a horse.
You may already have heard this from others, but if not here's a nice story: not
only does PH have a most faithful audience in Denmark, and not only will Denmark
host the most exciting musical event of 2006 :
The Castle Concerts at Ledreborg Castle
with PH and the world famous (in Denmark!) Danish Radio Symphony Orchestra.
(Don't miss this event!) ...
Denmark is also home to a talented race horse by the name of Procol Harum. Born
in 2002, the horse won a race in its maiden season (2004) at Jägersro Race
Course in Sweden and was tipped for the Danish Derby in 2005. Unfortunately, the
horse has had some problems recently, but is apparently on its way back to top
form under the guidance of trainer Bent Olsen.
I usually don't follow the races at all, but I will look out for Procol Harum
once the racing season gets under way and keep BtP informed of any successes.
On the rest of this page, some nice pictures of the horse Procol Harum, gathered from the net

The photo above shows Procol Harum (left) winning at Jägersro Race Course in Malmö (Sweden). |
The horse's back right leg shows a whiter shade of pale! (Sorry!) |
