Christmas Conundrums 1999

Our generously-donated prizes

Yes!! To all those who have asked ...

In true Scandinavian style we will again run twelve days of Procol quizzes for everyone to enjoy over the festive season. This year's prizes are, if possible, even more splendid than 1997's or 1998's: again, this is largely thanks again to the generosity of Shine On, of Westside Records, of Strange Fruit and of SAF publishing. Our warmest thanks go to John Grayson, to Tony Rounce, to Sue Armstrong and to Nick Fisher for such handsome generosity - and to Gary Brooker for autographing the CDs.

Note that the three book prizes will become available at the end of January: winners in this competition will almost certainly have them before the shops and online suppliers do.

The quiz starts on Christmas Day and runs through to Twelfth Night. You can join in at any time and all you need is a pencil, some common-sense and a bit of Procol knowledge. The answer at the end will be a single word, as in previous years. There will be a daily clue to click on for further help from the pages of BtP

For the moment, decide which prize you want! Rank the prizes in the order you favour them, and send in your preference with your solution on the last day. We shall allot prizes on a first-come, first-served basis, as in the past couple of years.

In the unlikely event of there being fewer than nine winners, the first people to submit correct answers will get more than their fair share of the prizes.
