In Albi, old historic and UNESCO city of red brick in the South-West of France, Procol Harum was the first band of the soirée, just before Toto and Scorpions. Superb atmosphere of Summer festival and water-drinking was necessary for the musicians. I was there with Dominique Touzeau, my old friend of high school. The group made a perfect technical and groove too (yes) presentation, with two mentions: Josh at his top, and Geoff W fantastic both on The Devil and Cerdes. A new finale for Pandora's Box and a bit different Conquistador. Albi festival, after 26 years of life, becomes a great festival. Thanks, Eric Gillot and Dominique Touzeau for setlist and text; thanks, Barry Sinclair, for the graphic |
Two additional festival shots thanks to our valued correspondent, Palladium
veteran Michel Jariot
