Mary's Miscellany (10)

Procol images from BtP and other sources, with new commentaries and captions by Mary Roussey

Cover of The Best of Procol Harum album – released in 1972

Gary Brooker live on German TV in 1976.  Looks like A Salty Dog to me  😊

Gary Brooker – a mere babe – performing as part of The Paramounts

So tightly knit to our spiritual core, music can run the gamut of our emotional spectrum,
from joy to anguish and everything in between

Music, the most sublime of the arts, draws its word meaning from muse -- to reflect and meditate about something in depth

Warsaw, Poland in 1976: perhaps another ‘Souvenir of London’ photo?
Chris Copping on banjo, Alan Cartwright on  bass, Gary Brooker on  guitar and BJ on drums

Photo from a video of a ‘Souvenir of London’ performance – location and year unknown to me

In keeping with the ‘Souvenir of London’ theme, here is a performance of the song at the Capitol Theatre, Passaic, NJ on 17 October 1975
As a side-note, I prefer this style of clothing (rather than the suits of nowadays) as they’re more in keeping with the ‘look’ of a rock band!

Maybe…’Bringing Home the Bacon?’  Live on Musikladen – 1973
