Paul Holland, ex-Californian who lives not far from the
Brooker gig, entertains his guests
Linda and Roland from BtP at his Hammond A1000
Gary Brooker and Friends, in one of the dressing-rooms, about to go on stage: Andy Fairweather Low, Gary Brooker, Judy Blair, Dave Bronze and Paul 'Beans' Beavis
As above, with the addition (in front) of Ashley Dow and Debbie Dow, aka Rag Mama Rag, who opened the show, and joined GB and the band for the two encores. Though resident in France these two Dows hail originally from Colchester in Essex, UK ... not a million miles from Southend-on-Sea
Gary Brooker standing at the piano, mid-song: what song can this be, that prompts him to mime the words 'L 7'?
The excellent Dave Bronze on bass. As we've noted elsewhere on this website, 'every note a masterclass'
Paul Beavis on drums! And extremely dynamic player who would
be difficult to capture
in focus even for an expert photographer with a posh camera
The band's co-front-man, Andy Fairweather Low
Gary got up from the piano at one point during the set to adjust the head-orientation of this enigmatic totem
Andy, Paul, Gary, Judy and somebody's cranium
Comic shenanigans as Gary attempts to get the guitar-strap the right way around his neck
Andy shows him the trick of it, with Dave in attendance
Gary, Judy, Debbie, and Dave. This is the only number for which Judy was wearing shoes
Andy and Gary, ukulele and guitar, with Paul behind on the drums of course
Farewell to an ecstatic audience from a superb band: Andy, Ashley, Gary, Judy, Debbie, Dave and 'Beans'
The evening's very excellent sound-man
Last persons standing at the aftershow party: Gary with Jeri Stevens, Paul Holland, Roland and Linda from BtP (photo by Franky Brooker). The previous two photos can't be shown because in one Paul has his eyes shut and in the other Gary (by his own admission) burped
