Short-ish set as they were backing the headliner Yes. Walked up to the venue, a small amphitheater in an upscale recently-built shopping/dining/living complex, about an hour before the show, to hear Gary and company’s sound check of Wall Street Blues. They sounded so tight, at first I thought it was a CD playing to test out the sound system, but no, after peeking through a few screens I caught a glimpse of the boys on stage. They went on to do a few seconds of Strong as Samson then they left the stage. Good little test of what was to come. Good show: glad I caught them as the last time I saw them was in 1974!
