Andrey Gorsky, St.Petersburg, Russia, writes to BtP:
What a great concert! The audience wasn't large because of expensive tickets (17-35 $. A high price for Russia though). But due to it there weren't occasional visitors. All in hall knew PH songs very well and were the grateful listeners. Our hall hasn't a great acoustic properties, but anyway sound was satisfactory. All songs, except Samson, were played rather close to originals. Samson was different but great anyway. Walpurgis and AWSoP created almost orgasmic atmosphere. When AWSoP was over, become clear that gig was over too.
Nothing remained to add. Gary was great. He looked like a schoolteacher sitting behind the keyboard. Other musicians went to him and whispered in his ear when they had any problems. He nodded with importancy. Matthew Fisher looked like a eternal student. He even sat on empty box, not on chair. He was serious and great too. Matt Pegg (son of Jethro Tull's bassist, I suppose) and Mark B. were serious and accurate. New guitarist Geoff simply charmed the audience. Cheerful fat guy in Hawaiian T-shirt with face and smile of Noddy Holder. Absolutely unserious appearance but great playing. Amazingly. One girl managed to get autograph on vinyl record.
I abused myself that I didn't guess to take any of my ones. Also I am fool because I didn't take a camera. The hall was daylighted and shoots might be excellent. Try to check some Russian fans. There were some cameras at hall.
