An extraordinary setlist ... some astonishing surprises! Left out, from time considerations, A Salty Dog and Conquistador, which were scheduled after Cerdes. Procol went on stage – in the cod-drying shed – at quarter past midnight and finished at quarter to two; it never got dark. People fainted during Cerdes and there was a minor fracas at the front during Grand Hotel. So it was a very unusual gig in many respects, about which much more will doubtless be written. |
