Thanks for the setlist-scan, Hermann |
Bringing Home the Bacon The VIP Room Shine on Brightly (Gary starts slightly differently, whole intro falls apart. Everybody stops; Gary claims 'How long have been playing and we don't even rehearse it. I know what the problem is we had wild boar for dinner.' Everyone laughs, and they start again) Pandora's Box (the ending instrumental section becomes a Latin-style Sergio Mendez Brazil 66) Learn to Fly (very up-tempo) Magdalene (My Regal Zonophone) (not on official setlist: beautiful) An Old English Dream ('We are good at games you can play with one hand, like darts, and drink with the other hand'. Nice new drum pattern in closing section) Homburg Simple Sister (Dunn alters the drums again, and it is his song now, with some BJ flourishes. Very different from Mark Brzezicki) Interval Conquistador One Eye on the Future (One-Eye name-checked for helping sell merchandise) A Rum Tale Grand Hotel (extended applause, and then band intros) Hang on Rose Missing Persons (wildly extended applause) The Devil Came from Kansas (an astounding re emergence - fantastic) A Salty Dog ('For all our friends who watch us from above'; new intro with seagulls and whale sounds. 'We would like to play this for all the humpback whales because we don't like the [***] who are going out to catch them'!).

Tale is, but that song #10 of the second set is given no title at
all.
