Procol Harum's 40th Anniversary and the build-up
Southend shots from Roland at BtP (5)

Dave Knight and Andrè Romkes

One-Eye, 'the Growling American' as Gary Brooker dubbed him

One-Eye awaits a cue: on synth, 'Doc' Wallace; on bass, Palle Bas Christensen

Don at the Hammond. The Doc had his own kingdom over there behind
the shrouded stand – amp, synth, guitar and so on all
brought to Southend in an improbably tiny sports car. And he transferred the
whole 'nest' to the stage at St John's as well.

Peter and his first-born, Darci

As above. A good diet of music for a not-yet-three-year-old

Dave Ball plays the guitar, and Jeff and Gary get their cameras going. In the background, Marvin plays some air-drums

Alberto Gallarini on guitar, Peter on the piano, with Darci beside him: Broken Barricades

Poul Achton, our very capable Danish drummer

Same place, different shirts: Dave, One-Eye and Don

Don and Gary; behind, the dance studio ... it was a great deal less hot in there

Gary, Thomas biting a pen, Alberto on the bass, and Søren
Borello,
leader of the Danish Procol tribute band, on piano and vocal

Søren again on piano and vocal for Your Own Choice, with the Doc playing second guitar
