LA's Lickerish, the band which (as Apeneck) played at BBK King's Club alongside The Palers' Band in July 2003, are mounting two BENEFIT CONCERTS FOR HURRICANE KATRINA RELIEF. Guitarist Lloyd Edward wowed the BB King audience when he joined the Palers' Band for Going Down Slow, their cover of the Hubert Sumlin song Procol Harum used to play in the late 60s. So come and hear what his band has to offer on two special occasions during September 2005.
The two gigs previewed on this page raised a total of $16,000 for hurricane relief. Lickerish are gratified by everyone's generous support of this important cause.
Come enjoy great Lickerish music, food, and good times with us to help bring
a ray of light into this dark time. We look forward to joining you in this
important cause.
