At previous conventions we've gone to elaborate and costly trouble to hire gear and plan exactly who would play what, and it's worked very well indeed ... but the ethos of the Bloomsbury party was that people brought an instrument if they wanted, and we busked without prior consultation, rehearsal, or indeed knowing all the changes ... oddly, in what follows, there are no pictures of people in the crowd singing ... but sing they did!
