A hot July night in a big tent in Karlsruhe, Tollhaus - Zeltival. A wonderful concert, two-and-a-half hours. Gary told some nice stories to the about 500 spectators (for example: the hard way from the Isle of Wight, starting at 5 o’clock in the morning to Karlsruhe; and how Geoff represented England in the European Drinking Contest) The set list was changed a lot compared to the Italian concerts. Gary irritated the band, when he started a different song from what they were expecting. In my opinion the high spot of the concert were Whisky Train, Simple Sister and the fulminate final, Repent Walpurgis. In my wife’s opinion, it was Grand Hotel and Weisselklenzenacht.
