Procol Harum in Zurich, 5 December 2003

Procol in Zurich was brilliant and generous indeed! Twenty-one superb songs with everybody in high form: I completely agree with the first comments published on BtP!

Here is a short article in German entitled: "Fire and Flame: Peace on Earth and Procol Harum on Stage: the Icons from Hippie time perform their new Album". The source is Good News, Nr 9/Nov. 2003. It is the magazine of the main organisator of concerts in Switzerland.

I have been able to have a short chat with the musicians and Franky Brooker and to take digital pictures after the concert. No scoop for BtP, but Procol was looking forward to going back home after this long and rich tour, before the last gig 2003 in Islington! A propos, after having played A Whiter Shade of Pale Gary said: "This is the last night: tomorrow we go home"! And to celebrate this with enthusiasm, the band played two superb encores: Whisky Train and Repent Walpurgis. The audience jubilated!

During the session of signatures and chat with fans, Matt and Geoff acknowledged their increasing performing quality saying: "Tonight we have played much better than in our first concert 2003 in Catford" (from my humble point of view, it was anyway excellent).
