These pictures kindly sent to BtP by Carsten Loendal-Nielsen, who says,
"Great site you are running! I have been a great Procol Harum fan ever since A Whiter Shade of Pale hit the world in 1967. I went to my first Procol Harum-concert at Aabenraa, Denmark in 1970 – and I've been to concerts every time the band have visited Denmark ever since. Looking back, I can recall 15 concerts – and probably there have been some more in total.
"At the Esbjerg-gig I was sitting with my girlfriend Kirsten Andersen, as close to the scene as ever. I hereby send you her pictures – rather dark, but .... maybe some of them useable anyway.
"What was remarkable from this concert was the dress-code of Matt Pegg – 'Matt the Hat' as Gary Brooker introduced him – and the last number, Whisky Train, performed as an extremely long, but brilliant-played drum-solo by Mark Brzezicki."
Geoff's shirt reads 'Success means never having to wear a suit.' Though some (eg Matt) might not agree ... The red bow-tie is a splendid accessory.
